Amid the Golf Courses of Central Florida you'll find Lake Wales Country Club with a golf course that has its roots in Old Florida and in the early days of great golf courses in America. The course at Lake Wales was built in 1926 and designed by Donald Ross, the nations first great golf course designer, and the man who laid out Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina, Oakland Hills in Mich. and Seminole in Florida.
